An Egg-cellent Morning at The Breakfast Club

I'm a naughty girl.

Week on week I hear about the catastrophe of a que that lines up outside of The Breakfast Club- I see it too! Whether it's Spitalfields or Soho, Battersea or Hoxton- like clockwork a que the length of a bible forms outside the beloved bright yellow door.

See, I've never liked a que. Something to do with that standing still while life passes me by thing.

Shh... don't tell anyone- I may have found a way to avoid any que at any breakfast club at any time! I'd give you the secret as long as you promised to keep it to yourself? Deal?

Anyway, having done said secret we were seated and buzzing for some classic breakfast specials. (Warning: the SOME as opposed to A is intentional- what you're about to view is food history.)

Now to say we were hungry is an understatement...

The most deliciously Runny Eggs Benedict...

The fluffiest pancakes stacked high with rashes of the most Crisp Bacon

Achin' for Bacon!

The crunchiest Bircher Museli...

Drool.

Topped off with a fresh as pants Smoothie...

Full? Had enough? Never!

After spending an additional hour gossiping away about all things Life, Fashion Week and Fifty Shades- we peeked at excessive...

Because all Happy Endings end with a Chocolate Brownie!

It's becoming a bit of an institution so The Breakfast Club is definitely one you want to check out! Take my advice, head there as early as possible if not outside of peak brunching times- or risk que'ing for hours (unless you have THE SECRET )

My Last Week in Instagrams

As I'm sure you already know- when the sun is out in London it's a cardinal sin to sit in doors.

All of a sudden you're reaching for your phone, making plans and living on the edge [otherwise known as leaving your house without a jacket]. Unfortunately, in my case, my over enthusiastic sunshine messaging put me in the awkward positioning of triple-booking on a multitude of days which has made for one very busy lady!

This week I watched Beyonce rock The O2 Arena with a friend

while enjoying a glass of Sir Perrier.

Beyonce was absolutely incredible and make the experience even more incredible- Jay-Z joined her on stage!

 N'aww.

I threw on my staple sunshine colour- White

and took a stroll through Regents Park- one of my favourite places ever.

and watched the sun disappear into the darkness at The Boundary [blogged about here]

I got dolled up to attend a show at The Barbican Centre, London- had a heat hair dilemma

which was quickly resolved with a mad hair shake and a dash out of the door in this Baby from the Topshop Kate Moss Collection.

Ravishing from an overly active day and night, I made a pitstop at Duck & Waffle

and destroyed one of my favourite cuban desserts- Torrejas

Too good To-rrejas. [resist for my slower friends.]

I took a long countryside drive

to view a spanish-inspired property with the most incredible views of London.

Having burnt off an adequate amount of calories galavanting around in the sun, I took a trip to the incredible Levant to celebrate a friends birthday and indulged in one of the tastiest mixed grills I've ever tasted.

Followed by a tower of desserts ranging from rose glazed grapes and buttery baklava

Inspired by the range of delicious flavours and foods that I'd tasted, I cooked up a storm in the kitchen for my family

And ended the week on a high note

A high note topped with ice cream that is- did I forget to mention that?

See upping the degrees, ups the productivity! How was your week in the sunshine?

Beverley Hills Bakery

I like sweet things.

I was always the kid who would be traced back to by the mysterious finger print in the cakes icing [I became quite notorious for this- the serial icing stealer if you will.]

The Beverley Hills Bakery combined 3 of my favorite things last week-surprises, post and sweet treats! After a long day, I came home to find a mysterious box sitting on my doorstep. Feeling like a child on Christmas morning- I ripped open the box [causing grievous bodily harm due to overzealous scissor use- naturally], to reveal a sweet little gingham lined tin, like the kind that your mother used to store, or in my case hide, freshly baked treats in...

16 scrumptious fresh and hand-baked cupcakes all for me!

The lightest and most flavorsome sponge, topped with an iceberg of icing...

I know you liked that, let’s have another look...

Having sampled my fair share of cupcakes over the years, I was seriously impressed with these bad-boys. What makes them even more impressive is that all delicious goods are freshly prepared on the morning of delivery and absolutely no pre-mixes are used so you can really taste the difference in the freshness of the goods.

Whether you want to devour them yourself or treat a certain special someone, the Beverley Hills Bakery is the perfect way to make somebody’s day!
